Balmung Manin

Appearance : Balmung has a strong natural face structure, small perfect eyebrows and hair that reaches just below his ear, but it is quite thick. He wears two plain silver rings on his left ear and no other jewelry. His structure is slender and thin, his muscle is only enough to be useful in combat with someone who isn't physically built.

He wears a simple blue coat which reaches down to about thigh length, it splits at his waist to cover each leg. Its collar is usually popped and has many holes and buckles in the collar in case its cold, allowing him to button it up so it covers most of his lower face. It also has a hood which is simple a blue. It is a long sleeved jacket, but he normally wears it rolled up. He wears long cargo pants that are tan, also full of pockets and a belt that is also tan. He wears simple black socks and white sneakers with three blue stripes along the side, which match his coat's color.

Personality :
Balmung believes in chivalry. If there is anything out of the ordinary, he'll question it. He has a hard time trusting people as well, but when his trust has been won, there isn't a person better to rely on. Balmung likes to keep things in order if they are important, but otherwise doesn’t care. He is powerful and competent, especially in the field. He’s quite stubborn and resistant to change, many people see him as headstrong. He’s likely to find himself in a bad spot at times but usually it ends up being a lot of fun. He doesn’t stick to it for very long, if something becomes boring he leaves, simple as that, he is quick at getting something done but can’t stick to something for a long time. At times he is irresponsible which would make many parents untrustworthy of him as a friend of their child, but he usually can keep it together. He tends to act before he thinks but that isn’t in all cases, and he does rely on common sense and his surroundings more than logic or understanding.

He prefers meeting 1 person at a time, but as long as he knows one or two people he can gather up a group of allies pretty quick. He is hard to understand or read, he is very complex. He knows a lot of people and has many acquaintances but usually keeps with his close group of friends before a lot of strangers. If someone is doing something he doesn’t like, he tells them, he isn’t one to bottle up his feelings; this makes him very explosive and easily angered. Even so he knows conflict is a part of any relationship and expects it and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt. His alignment is not to good or evil, nor lawful or chaos, meaning he doesn’t have a true desire to hurt or help people and doesn’t care about laws or breaking them.

Character's History : Childhood:
Born in Wind Country, High on a mountain outside of the Sand Village, his clan was gifted with the ability of Flight and wings. For every 5 Children, one is allowed to become a Ninja. Balamung happened to be the lucky Kid. Excited and loved on more then the other Children he was quickly learning the basics of becoming a ninja, mainly just the emotional strength that would be required of him. He was taught how he would live away from home in the Sand Village.

Academy:
Sent to Wind country with simple clothing and a sack of goods, his parents had rented him an apartment to stay. He was mostly found in the Academy Building training or the like. His wings were just beginning to sprout now. He was a simple student, not really bad not really good. Mainly one of the kids that if he disappeared no one would really notice. He went through the Academy once, doing well the first time through, but not well enough to be seen as special.

Genin:
He was a normal genin without a team for a year, seeing how the amount of genin were low. He was one of the Unlucky few to have to wait one year until being assigned a team. His wings had begun to grow now, he could no longer conceal them beneath his shirt. Most people looked upon him oddly, but nothing too different.

Upon being placed into his Three man team, Balamung turned out to be a natural born Strategist. He was quite smart and determined. No one really paid attention to his wings while he was on missions or in battle. Only when he was walking the streets. He was a simple Genin, nothing much to him yet, and was sent to the Chuunin Exams.

In the Chuunin Exam's his Tactics and Strategies turned out to aid him much more then he thought. The first Test, he had smarts so he quickly passed without too much trouble. During the team test, he relied more on Gut instinct which caused the team he was on a little difficulty, but they managed to get through. On the Third Stage of the test, his true abilities were revealed, his first fight won quickly and with out any problems. His second fight more difficult, but still he won easily. And was sent to Chuunin Rank.

Chuunin
He was seen as a simple Chuunin, His wings had grown to allow flight for himself. His missions had become boring for him though, and his true emotions were seen for the first time. During his missions he entered the Hidden Sound village, where he met Nebli. She always seemed to be wandering around boredly, he had taken a liking to the girl as he met her better, and asked her if she wanted to accompany him on his travels, she accepted and taught him simple Puppetry and built the three puppets he has now. She quickly became a tool and friend more then he thought she would, and now the two travel everywhere together.

Jounin:
Just recently added but is already very powerful.

Ah, moon country, a nice pleasant country with no ninja or anything of the like around that could cause anyone harm. One couldn't ask for a nicer day either, sun shining, wind blowing a cool and calm breeze off the sea, clear sky with no signs of rain, waves calmly lapping against the shore, but it was not for the day that Drizzt was here, in fact he was sleeping during the day in a home of some older folk whom he did not know, on a makeshift cot of piled goods and blankets. By the time night fell, Drizzt was wide awake. He cracked a few joints in his neck, stretched his legs and gathered his things. After throwing his cloak on he left the room and continued on out of the home into the darkened streets, cloak covering his head and some of his face. No one to hunt yet.. what will i do. he thought to himself continuing down the street in the pitch black seeing perfectly, spotting a bar he decided to enter, maybe i'll hear something interesting. he thought smiling to himself as he made his way to the bar, upon entering he sat down at a table near the wall, and took off his hood, "Get me a beer." he told a server politely as he could with those words.

When the server returned, he took a sip of it and eyed over the crowd, looking for an interesting conversation, he spotted a small group of people conversing near the fire, he picked up his drink and moved over there, clapped one of the men on the back, "May I have a seat?" Drizzt asked with a smile on his face, the man looked somewhat bewildered as he looked at Drizzt, "S-sure." he said shaking his head, "I didn't think i drunk that much yet.." the man mumbled to himself so no one could hear, Drizzt smiled and sat down, "And then she slipped! Fell all the way down the set of stairs right on top of old gizmo!" The man burst with laughter, Drizzt smiled, wondering what exactly they were talking about and simply took another sip of his beer. He set it aside, and looked around, a strange man with an axe walked in, he ignored him for the time being and listened to the men talk, laughing with them, sighing with them, whatever they did he mimicked.

Always keeping his eye on the people around the room however, listening for anything more interesting. He heard something but didn't know what to make of it. "They say it was Omir..." someone said he couldn't tell where from though, it was in a dreaded tone, Omir. he took a mental note and continued talking amongst the men. "So where you from Stranger?" one of the men asked him, "Oh, the mountains." Drizzt responded cordially, the men laughed, "Sure are a lot of those around, what you pop out of a Rock?"One of the men said, They laughed harder at that, Drizzt even chuckled a little, "No, they are near Lightning country, the biggest Mountain Range in the world many say." The men nodded, "Ah." one of the men however shook his head and stood up about to leave.

"Where are you going?" a man asked, "Home." the man who got up responded, "Why? Whats wrong?" the man glanced over the table. "I don't drink with Drow." Drizzt stood up, "What?" he said, the man scowled at him, "I Don't Drink with DROW." He said mockingly. Drizzt reached over his back, ready to draw a sword. The man grabbed the edge of the table and flipped it up towards Drizzt and took off, Drizzt growled but let him go, then headed for the door, "Sorry boys, i no longer wish to drink." He said as he reached the door.
